Tonight I attended a Liberal party fund-raiser for Edward Mandla, candidate for the new seat of Sydney. He will be challenging long-time independent representative Clover Moore. I'm not a virgin to political fund-raisers, having been dragged along as a guest several times before. But this time I was attending in an official capacity, largely because the function was being held at Stonewall Hotel. |
