The NSW Liberal/Nationals Coalition’s shares cycling groups’ concern about the state of cycling in NSW. After 12 long years, NSW Labor has simply stopped pedalling. Labor has failed the people of NSW when it comes to cycling, including budget cuts, abolishing the RTA Cycling Unit, and failing to build hundreds of kilometres of promised cycleways. The NSW Coalition is committed to making NSW the Premier cycling state.

The purpose of the shadow minister’s visit is to be briefed by residents on the issue and to make a statement on the future of the reservoir site. |

Liberal candidate for Sydney, Edward Mandla, spruiked for light rail for Oxford Street at a campaign fundraiser at Stonewall Hotel on Monday. Standing against Clover Moore in the new seat, Mandla compared Oxford Street to Parramatta Road, calling for rent-free periods on council-owned shopfronts to rejuvenate the strip. Shadow minister for mental health, Judy Hopwood, outlined the coalition strategy on mental health and homeless people in the inner city, promising $396 million over four years. |
